Studio Policies & Waivers

Waiver & Release of Liability Form

1. General Participation & Liability Waiver

I understand that participation in any art-related activity at Gotta Have HeART Studio may involve the use of paints, tools, equipment, and other materials that could pose potential hazards. I acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to these activities.

I hereby waive, release, and discharge Gotta Have HeART Studio, its members, owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for injuries, damages, or loss (including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death) that may arise from or relate to my participation in studio activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

2. Minor Participation (If Applicable)

If the participant is under 18 years of age:

I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor listed below and give permission for them to participate in Gotta Have HeART Studio activities. I acknowledge all terms contained herein on their behalf and assume all associated risks.

3. Pick-Up Policy (For Minors)

I understand that minors must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of their activity. Gotta Have HeART Studio does not provide childcare beyond scheduled class times. Repeated lateness may result in additional charges or exclusion from future activities.

4. Alcohol Policy & Release (For Adult Events Only)

- Gotta Have HeART Studio is a BYOB venue. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages for personal consumption.

- I confirm that I am at least 21 years of age and will not distribute alcohol to anyone underage.

- I understand that Gotta Have HeART Studio does not provide, serve, or sell alcohol and is not responsible for alcohol-related behavior.

- Excessive consumption may result in removal without refund.

- I fully release and discharge Gotta Have HeART Studio, and its members, owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, agents, and affiliates, from all liability related to alcohol use, including injury, illness, property damage, or legal consequences.

5. Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Gotta Have HeART Studio to call emergency services. I am financially responsible for any resulting costs.

Cancellation Policy

At Gotta Have HeART Studio, we understand that life happens! While we do not offer refunds for missed classes, camps, or events, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule your session whenever possible.

Please Note:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the scheduled session to be eligible for rescheduling.

  • Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) may forfeit the ability to reschedule.

Photography Release

I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during classes and events for promotional purposes. I give permission for Gotta Have HeART Studio to use my image or that of my child in marketing materials, including social media, unless I notify the studio in writing. I further understand that I will not receive any fee or other compensation by reason of such use.
